Read about the Palmer trial

For almost two dozen clients, the law firm Schomerus has won almost 500,000 euros in damages after a period of approximately 19 years of proceedings (!!!) and the trial over several weeks. It is too late, and still too little, that we have to sum this up, because many hundreds or even thousands of victims have gone empty-handed because they have not had the courage or the breath to participate in or persevere in such a process. In the case of others, the court refused to pay damages because the internal link between the companies mentioned in contracts and the private individuals convicted in the trial could not be proved sufficiently securely for the judges.

Can at least those who have succeeded collect your damages? Not so soon, because in the meantime an appeal has been filed and the causa is before the highest Spanish court for a final decision. It is to be hoped that the requests for revision will be rejected as inadmissible or, if so, at least decided soon. Finally, the Spanish judiciary has a lot to do in terms of the length of the proceedings.
